You will have gleaned from Max's most recent article Rebirth of the Australian super-blend that Australia’s top producers are embracing their country’s blending tradition and that something significant was in the wings.
Here it is, Penfolds g3, a completely new wine, the Penfolds embargo having been carefully stage-managed to be lifted today (presumably several hours ago in Australia itself) after a launch last night in Hong Kong’s Liang Yi museum to a gathering of international media and the Chinese collectors in Penfolds' sights.
