Recent bordeaux verticals on JancisRobinson.com have dealt mainly with classed-growth châteaux that have seen a relatively recent upturn in quality. This is less the case at Ch Pichon Baron, or Château Pichon-Longueville (Baron) as it was known until 2012. The new label merely confirmed its familiar name, the official title of Château Pichon-Longueville au Baron de Pichon-Longueville too much of a mouthful.
