Pingus – less new oak, more transparency

I've known Peter Sisseck ever since a very cold morning in December 1998. I used to take advantage of a long weekend we have in early December in Spain to go to Ribera del Duero with a friend from work to stock up on some of our favourite wines. One of them was Peter's Hacienda Monasterio, but we hardly ever scored there, because the wine was always bottled late or not labelled and was never ready at the time of our visit. But we duly went there every year, just in case.
