Southern French gems

I firmly believe that the south of France is home to some of the best wine value in the world and outline the special characteristics, positive and negative, of the Languedoc-Roussillon in France's best-kept secret.
The following 200+ tasting notes were assembled by me over the last few months and by Tamlyn Currin mainly at Vinisud, the large wine fair held every February in Montpellier. She has already published two other collections of tasting notes in Estranhièrs in Languedoc-Roussillon (about foreigners making exceptional wine) and Vinifilles, an association of women winemakers there.
