On this dark grey morning in London, I thought I'd import some strong rays of Italian sunshine via the following tasting notes taken at a showing of wines from 10 great estates by UK Italian specialists Lea & Sandeman last month, a couple of Piemontese producers and then a particularly strong array from Tuscany and Umbria. Prices given are per bottle including VAT. Notes on some older vintages not currently for sale are also included.
