Update from the Languedoc

You may remember Richard Neville's long Dec 2008 account of the viticultural despair where he now lives, From a Languedoc village. As I have pointed out, most recently in France's best-kept secret, although the Languedoc is making more great wine than ever, and this is recognised by cognoscenti such as Purple pagers (see our forum), even those with established reputations and making top-quality wine are finding it difficult to distribute their wines and sell them at a fair price.
The Comité Interprofessionnel des Vins du Languedoc recently announced yet another new plan to try to overcome this....
