I recently received the following touching email from Rheingau-raised California winemaker Walter Schug and thought it appropriate to publish it on the same day as my tasting notes on German Pinot Noirs, as shown at the recent Masters of Wine tasting – JR
It was great fun to read your evaluation of the Burgundy v Rheingau tasting. I had known of it and to see the results is of interest as it greatly involves our family.
