As long-serving visitors to this site know (and a search for, say, 'China' on the site reveals), I am particularly fascinated by how rapidly Asia has fallen in love with wine, both consuming and now producing it. The following article by Asian business expert and contributor on Asian matters to The Oxford Companion to Wine Denis Gastin first appeared in the Harvest 2005 issue of Australian Wine Selector magazine.
