My 'waste not, want not' policy continues. During July's heatwave I spent a few luxurious days in Bordeaux with my fellow members of the Royal Household Wine Committee. Very different from my usual primeurs dash from tasting table to tasting table, this was a much more leisurely, and instructive, affair.
