Ahead of tomorrow's massive compilation of tasting notes on Spanish and Portuguese wines, we publish this report on the vintage currently in Spain's bodegas. See also Miquel Hudin's companion report on Priorat and Montsant in 2015. 

Trying to generalise about the whole picture of a vintage is not easy. Many factors and variable causes affect the climatic conditions every year and they can generate exceptions even within a single subzone, mesoclimate or vineyard. Despite that, some broad conclusions can be drawn about 2015 in Spain.
