Jennifer McCloud of Chrysalis Vineyards in Virginia could not be more of a fan of the red wine grape I regard as the best of American native varieties. (I went online to see if I could find a picture of this larger than life wine producer and, much to my surprise, saw that the picture of her describing her wines to me at Monticello was the prominent third option; disregard my jowls.) See this extensive section of her website she has altruistically devoted to Norton.
