Jancis writes We have recently been lucky enough to have tasted a range of champagnes from some of the grander producers - Billecart-Salmon, Bollinger, Dom Pérignon, Laurent-Perrier and Philipponnat – and report below on our findings. These tasting notes are supplemented by two groups of rosé and demi-sec champagnes tasted blind recently as part of my duties on the Royal Household Wine Committee.
