Bargain Pol Roger, Blind River and other good NZ Sauvignons

There seem to be a lot of discounts at the moment chez the UK retail chain Oddbins – notably on Australian and New Zealand wines, as well as the old six-for-five champagne deal, but one single-bottle champagne discount caught my eye yesterday. Pol Roger NV is just £20.99, reduced from £26.99 until 21 may, which strikes me as a very good price for a superior champagne.
I was also impressed by the award-winning Blind River Sauvignon Blanc 2005 Marlborough at its regular price of £9.99. This is the third vintage from a smallish family concern and won a Gold Medal...
