He's a traveller, photographer, agricultural engineer, author, journalist and artist. He writes about gastronomy, film, writes guide books to bars and taverns around the world and has recently written about amphora wines. Eclectic, restless, artistic and curious, only Frenchman Pierrick Bourgault would write a book called, quite simply, Unusual Wines (or, in the original French version, Vins Insolites – which does sound much more evocative!).
