I really liked these wines in general and am very pleased that the overall improvement in vine growing and winemaking has had such a good effect on the wines grown to the immediate south east of the city of Bordeaux.
The reds in general have more fruit than they used to do, which, since in the old days they could easily be quite weedy and thin, is a thoroughly good thing here. But in 2010 they tended to have that lovely aromatic quality of a good red Graves.
