Bordeaux 2010 in bottle

The light and soaring Paul Hamlyn Hall at London's Royal Opera House was filled almost beyond capacity last week by more than 100 producers from Bordeaux's Union des Grands Crus and those wishing to taste their 2010 wares. Richard and I shared the tasting and our notes on 134 wines, now safely in bottle as opposed to the primeurs samples described here, are combined below.
Even without the first growths, which never take part in the annual UGC tastings in London or elsewhere, the 2010 left-bank wines I tasted confirmed my admiration for this vintage, summarised in the introduction...
