Bordeaux 2010s reassessed
To get her palate in shape for the assault of the 2011s all last week, Julia went to Bordeaux last month for a wide-ranging reassessment of the 2010s organised by cosmopolitan négociants Millésima. Here are her impressions:

I loved the vintage on the left bank. A few of the wines I wanted to taste were not there (eg Gruaud Larose, Angélus) for some reason. I think my favourite was Pichon Longueville (Baron) but I also loved Haut-Bailly.
