In a way this is the most interesting commune of all in 2012 because all three of the major properties Cos d'Estournel, Montrose and Calon-Ségur are under new management. Not only that, but all three made exceptionally good wines in 2012 which I may even have underrated. And even Cos Labory, not usually an overperformer, hem, hem, managed to impress me with the sample shown at the blind UGC tasting of wines from the northern Médoc.
