Bordeaux 2012 – St-Julien

I was thrilled yesterday (during one of many longueurs in the jury assembly room of Southwark Crown Court) to see that our tally of tasting notes on the 2012 bordeaux seems to have reached 497. And to judge from the number of emails I have received from proprietors of petits châteaux 'deploring' the fact that we did not taste their wines and offering to send samples to London, I fully expect that total to reach 500 – a nice round number.

Of course, St-Julien is not the place to look for...
