Bordeaux 2012 – the heat continues

Here's the latest update from Martin Krajewski describing the harvest at Ch de Sours. See also his first and second reports for the story so far. At 6 am today the temperature was just 2 ºC though they are expecting 27 ºC by mid afternoon.
Well, the skies over Bordeaux are still blue and the temperatures is also really holding up well and so what started out in early April looking to be a promising 2012 vintage, but then nose-dived from late April until late June, is now once again looking as if it could be really something special.
