Britain's best-selling newspaper gets a wine column

Rupert Murdoch's Sun newspaper is famous for a lot of things – the infamous and well-endowed page 3 girls and headlines such as "Freddie Starr ate my hamster", for example – but not, up to now, for anything to do with wine.
But now, the 2.5 million daily buyers of this red top tabloid, by far the best-selling paper in the UK, are to be treated to a wine column every Friday written by Brian Moore, ex England rugby player and BBC sports commentator.
I think this is great news – proof positive that wine has entered the mainstream of British culture...
