The last stop in the annual Tuscan en primeur (Anteprima 2011 – see also extensive tasting reviews of Chianti Classico and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano) tour was, as always, reserved for Brunello di Montalcino, without a shadow of a doubt one of Italy's greatest wines.
