Ch Lagrange back to 1988

I promised both when recommending last week's wine of the week and with yesterday's very short video that I would publish an account of a tasting of vintages of the St-Julien third growth Ch Lagrange back to 1988. This was held over lunch at Le Gavroche last September. Our host was Bruno Eynard, who has taken over from Marcel Ducasse as manager here for Japanese owners Suntory. Fellow guests at this thoroughly sybaritic way to taste wines were Michael Broadbent MW, Steven Spurrier and Michael Schuster.
