During the en primeur tastings of the 2011 vintage, Frédéric Engerer, energetic director of François Pinault's first-growth Pauillac, announced that Ch Latour was withdrawing from the en primeur system and that from the 2012 vintage onwards, the wines would be put on the market when they were much older, and rather closer to being ready to drink...
