In response to a request on our Members’ forum, we are publishing this collection of 148 tasting notes much earlier than we’d planned to help you choose wine for the festive season.

Jancis writes The great majority of these wines are champagnes, whose prices seem to have soared over the last few months. In the UK, duty on sparkling wines was actually reduced on 1 August but I have not seen any signs of that decrease being passed on to consumers.
