Champagne retail prices in France and the UK continue to fall, depressed by stocks at an all time record high.

It was already clear some weeks ago that champagne was once again going be used as a tool to lure customers into stores as the grocers continue to fight each other for market share.
According to the latest figures, champagne shipments to the UK were down 31.67% in the 12 months to the end of August, but retail sales of champagne in the UK fell by considerably less.The volume is all being driven...
