More than 100 different current fizzy offerings are described below, 11 of them qualifying for the magic suffix GV denoting good value (Ctrl/Cmd+ F will reveal them). Many of the champagnes most recently tasted were 24 tasted blind (including all the sweeter ones that were surprisingly good in many cases) at Buckingham Palace last week by us members of the Royal Household Wine Committee. There is nothing more revealing than a blind champagne tasting.
