From Petaluma to Mountadam

Just who is left aboard the good ship Petaluma? First its founder Brian Croser jumps ship and now its famed winemaker Con Moshos, who has worked 24 years at Croser’s flagship Adelaide Hills operation, heads north to Mountadam in the Eden Valley. Jenni and David Brown who bought Mountadam, the veteran estate founded by the Wynn family, from LVMH last year have taken on Moshos as chief winemaker and viticulturist – just in time for the 2006 vintage. David Brown has other viticulture interests in the south east of South Australia.
