Attentive visitors to this site will know that Egon Müller, producer of truly great Saar wine from the Scharzhofberger vineyard that is Germany’s most admired (and expensive), started to make Kastiel Belá Riesling in Slovakia with the 2001 vintage. (You can find the Slovakian wine from Müller's new UK importer Top Selection at about £12 a bottle.)
