Just received the following from Nigel Greening of Felton Road, arguably New Zealand’s most admired Pinot Noir producer:
“I felt it a good idea to advise you that on my arrival at the winery this
year, I discovered a new kitten named Jancis (see picture). I am assured that the naming was caused by the young thing’s passion for spending time in the barrel cellars and not so [winemaker] Blair can shout "Get off the table, Jancis!".
