Languedoc-Roussillon round-up
Monday, 8 January 2007
These are tasting notes on 90 Languedoc Roussillon wines collected over the last 12 months, so some of them, especially those from LMOnline and Ch d’Angles, are rather long in the tooth, I’m afraid. I have listed them whites, pink, then reds, alphabetically by producer, ignoring words such as Ch(âteau), Dom(aine), le, la, les, de etc, I have given UK price and stockist as often as possible.
The wines are very much a mixed bag but the best of them include some of France’s very best bargains. I feel so sorry for the thousands of producers in the Languedoc-Roussillon...
