Larry Stone swaps Rubicons

Larry Stone, the Fulbright scholar, Maitre Sommelier (approved by the French) and Master Sommelier who was substantially responsible for the success of San Francisco's Rubicon restaurant, owned by Robert De Niro, Francis Ford Coppola and restaurant professional Drew Nieporent , is to switch horses.
After a glorious career as wine director of Rubicon since it opened in 1994 (having been lured from Charlie Trotter's in Chicago) he has just moved into a new home in the Napa Valley and in two weeks will take over as general manager of Coppola's wine property, the Niebaum-Coppola estate whose flagship wine is also called Rubicon, near Rutherford...
