London invaded – by Burgundy producers

This is the week that the UK fine wine trade goes mad for burgundy, or more particularly for showing samples of 16-month-old burgundy to their better-heeled customers and hoping to persuade them to invest considerable sums in it. Much will doubtless be made of the fact that the crop in 2010 was relatively small.
We know of at least 26 burgundy 2010 tastings in London this week and between us will try to attend them all (except for one which is effectively a copy of another).
