Long Island – the tasting notes

During my recent trip to Long Island (see A guide to Long Island wines) I tasted several hundred wines across vintages going back to the mid 1990s. To keep this overview manageable, I provide tasting notes focused on the more distinctive wines from recent releases. They are listed by colour and then alphabetically by producer. Where a producer has more than one wine, they are in order of price from low to high.
