Producers were asked to send wines made in the off-dry style, and these were split into two flights: feinherb and Kabinett. It seems that feinherb is now the new halbtrocken, as most producers appears to be using that designation for their off-dry wines. In actual fact, only one producer presented a wine for this tasting labelled halbtrocken. Despite the fact that some growers seem to interpret feinherb as a slightly sweeter version...
