Below are notes on a few dozen current offerings from UK importers O W Loeb, together with news of one member of their stable, Crawford River.
Those of you who have encountered these cool-climate Australians, either via articles such as Crawford River Riesling back to 1989 or better still in liquid form, may be interested to hear of a few new wines from those responsible. Belinda Thomson (pictured), the progeny of the Crawford River family, has made her first-ever own-label wine from Chardonnay fruit grown on the estate in Henty, Victoria.
