Pigott's wine v the rest, and some glasses

I made at least four great wine discoveries on Sunday when in Berlin for the VDP's centenary. One of them wasn't a wine at all but a set of particularly fine, handblown wine glasses. Zalto glasses were used for Stuart Pigott's launch in Berlin of his very own Müller-Thurgau in aid of HIV/Aids in South Africa (see www.weinhilft.de) and it was difficult not to feel the spirits lift as one of these delicate, super-light glasses was pressed into my hand.
