As I have already outlined in the members’ forum, I have been playing around with the new handheld TastingBuddy system for making tasting notes electronically. (I was not at all involved in the choice of the old, second edition of the Oxford Companion's appearance in the background of the standard publicity shot above!)
It’s very straightforward, though of course it imposes its own system on how you make the notes. At the moment it’s set up to divide tasting notes into Appearance, Nose and Taste. Because the Fitzpatrick brothers John and Paul who developed it worked quite closely...
