Ferran continues his tour of the Canary Islands, Atlantic playground for the vine.
Early this year I published an article on the wines of Tenerife. I still have great memories of the wines tasted then. That is why I was so excited to taste the most relevant wines of Gran Canaria, a neighbouring island, presented below. Gran Canaria is the main island of the Canaries archipelago, the second in terms of population (850,000 inhabitants) and a tourist destination. It receives more than three million visitors each year.
