If you’re wondering what on earth I’m on about, it’s #theBIGenglishwinegoodfriday, an idea started by the energetic Jacob Leadley, winemaker and co-founder of Black Chalk Winery, when he tweeted, ‘If every person in the UK who loves English or Welsh wine bought a bottle direct from their favourite producer I think we might secure an entire industry and their workforce in one very enjoyable evening.’
