Is it possible to suffer Barolo poisoning? I found myself wondering this towards the end of a magical recent weekend in the Langhe hills. Nick and I had been invited for one of the least demanding gigs of all time. Would I allow them to dedicate the official release of the latest, 2009 vintage of Barolo (on which Walter reports in detail here) to me?
Oh all right then, I said, pretending that it might possibly be hugely inconvenient...
