Warning to buyers of fine Australian wine

Andrew Caillard MW and Stewart Langton of Langton's Fine Wine Auctions, Australia's Christie's and Sotheby's rolled in to one, sent the following warning to their clients today.. Clearly they have an axe to grind. I'm sure that when fine wine brokers and traders emerged on teh London wine scene the conventional auction houses were tempted to issue similar warnings. But I'm sure there is more than a grain of truth in their grim observations – and not just in Australia. All dollars cited are Australian dollars.
