The Willamette Valley, the heartland of Oregon wine production, celebrates its 50th anniversary of vine growing, as we reported earlier this year when detailing this retrospective tasting of The Eyrie Vineyard.
To celebrate this they sent me current wines from '12 of our most renowned wineries’ and I present my tasting notes on them below, grouped by colour and then listed in alphabetical producer order.
