Yesterday we published a big second tranche of tasting notes on Germany's alluring 2009s, following on from a big first helping from wines tasted by Michael Schmidt in Germany. Our second tranche is based on various tastings in London either attended or privately undertaken by Julia and me.
As in our Burgundy report each January (see the Burgundy 2008 report, for example), we tend to cite the price quoted by the UK merchant who was showing that particular wine, even though the same wine may in fact be offered by several other retailers in the UK – and...
