A year has passed since I last did a joint review of the wine offers in Aldi and Lidl, the two highly successful discount retailers present in the UK. This article proved extremely popular, suggesting that Purple Pagers are keen on a bargain. As both companies decided to hold spring tasting events within a fortnight of each other this February, it made sense to repeat the process and see what, if anything, has changed.
