As explained in Aldo Conterno – production shrivels, the Aldo Conterno estate comprises some of the very best sites of Monforte d'Alba in the vineyard zone of Bussia, which is subdivided into Bussia, Bussia Sottana and Bussia Soprana, although almost regardless of which part of Bussia the wine comes from and regardless of the producer, they all are inevitably labelled as Bussia.
