American whites – the most candid of comments

This is what I wrote, with only the skimpiest of editing, at the British Airways First Class American white tasting earlier this week described here.

SAUVIGNON BLANCS

BO and alcohol and harshness. NOT sophisticated!

Fresh and good texture and pretty nice – not the sort of style you would have seen out of CA 3 yrs ago but in the end just a bit alcoholic.
