Boekenhoutskloof in Franschhoek may be a nightmare to spell but it is one of the best-known and most commercially successful of South African wineries.
Affable Marc Kent runs it, welcomes visitors to it, and travels sufficiently widely to keep it and its associated brands – The Chocolate Block, The Wolftrap and Porcupine Ridge – in the international frame in a way that many of his peers must envy.
