Bordeaux 2011 – the campaign that wasn't?

I had intended to write about the 2011 Bordeaux primeurs campaign, but quite frankly there is just so little to say. Despite predictions to the contrary, prices have been released neither particularly fast nor especially early, apart from the two properties that might be said to have been in the hail zone, Lafite (a moderate sales success at its relatively low price) and Cos d'Estournel (a rather public failure).
