Ch Lafleur – a vertical
Wednesday 15 September 2004
The following tasting notes on Ch Lafleur, jewel of Pomerol have been assembled from three separate tastings, as listed in chronological order. Within each tasting, wines are listed from young to old, lesser to greater if Guinaudeau wines other than the grand vin are noted. I have also tasted the Ch Grand Village 2003 dry rosé which is a well-made wine of interest to serious wine lovers, even if others might think Armit’s price last summer of more than £6.50 a bottle a bit steep. Can’t be that steep though because they are sold out.
